Overlooking the famed Las Ramblas, our new restaurant and bar, Cent Onze, is a wonderful place to relax and listen to live jazz. Le Méridien Barcelona is currently undergoing a 25-million Euro renovation, expected to be complete in June 2007. The new deluxe guest rooms provide the pinnacle of European luxury and comfort. Conference facilities, a stunning grand ballroom, and a state-of-the-art boardroom will provide business travelers with a stylish locale for their meetings. A fully equipped fitness center will provide a respite from the stresses of work. And an elegant lobby bar will provide a beautiful place to gather. Special Conditions From November 30, 2005 through June 30, 2007, Le Méridien Barcelona is currently completing a 25€ million full renovation. All available rooms have been completely refurbished and the brand new Restaurant & Bar Cent Onze with magnificent views over Las Ramblas is in operation. All ongoing renovations are completely out of sight for guests, and in order to minimize any inconvenience, working hours are limited to Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm. Hotel parking will remain closed until the refurbishments have been completed. There are several public parking sites within walking distance of the hotel. The new fitness room is expected to open in Spring 2007. In the meantime we are pleased to offer hotel guests complimentary access to the nearby Holmes Place Fitness Center. Guest Rooms
All 212 rooms and Suites have a minibar, safe-deposit box and hairdryer. For your in-room entertainment, we have selected various international television channels, and a pay per view film system. All rooms are equipped with fax / PC connections. Our suites are equipped with HiFi systems and large television. For your comfort, we have also added extra amenities in all the executive and 32 suites such as bathrobes, slippers and scales. Rooms throughout the hotel have soundproof windows, air conditioning and a work desk.
Classic Room
All rooms have bathrooms with shower over bathtub. There are three main colour schemes: Orange, green (reflecting the Mediterranean sun and sea) and classic cream. Four king-size rooms have been adapted for the disabled
Superior Room
Most of the rooms overlook the world famous Las Ramblas Boulevard and have a high ceiling. They are more spacious than the Classic rooms, all in warm colours.
Mediterranean Suite
Very spacious room with a sitting area and a dressing room. All have a spectacular terrace offering breathtaking views over Barcelona's city centre. These suites are ideal for enjoying breakfast in the Mediterranean sun or romantic dinners under the stars. The Mediterranean Suites are a honeymooners' preferred choice. They can also be used for small, private cocktail parties.
Suite Prestige
Located on the upper floors. These one-bedroom suites, with separate living rooms, are bright and modern in look and facilities. They feature natural beech wood furniture, cotton and pure wool curtains and upholstery. The marble bathrooms are very spacious, and some have separate showers and bathtubs. A complimentary open bar is available in the suite.
Presidential Suite
The best view a hotel room can offer in Barcelona. Located on the top floor, the living room offers a 180-degree view over Las Ramblas and the Gothic quarter. As well as the Mediterranean Suites, two terraces enable you to enjoy the heart of the centre. The living room ceiling is adorned with a replica 18th-century fresco. It is possible to interconnect with another suite, converting it to a three-bedroom suite.
